About the Ranch

Homesteaded in 1910, Spring Mountain is one of the last large cattle ranches in the Reno area. This beautiful ranch features expansive spring-fed meadows, uninterrupted mountain views, three large reservoirs, public land surroundings, and 7,650 acres of private property to be used for outdoor recreation.

Spring Mountain is currently used for cattle grazing, recreation, and hosting special events including the Maison T. Ortiz Youth Outdoor Skills Camp and the Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive.
